Drop Down Resistor | |
A 9V battery is perfect for my application. It seems that a 470 ohm resistor between the battery and RAW brings voltage to within range for the built-in regulator to do its work.

Excellent! | |
I have bought several, and am going to buy more! These are every bit as useful as the Uno, but so much smaller! With an external USB programming board, which MPJA also sells, I can save $$ by buying these and building them into permanent projects. Whats not to LOVE about such a tiny, low-cost, yet powerful Arduino?

Tthis board is a great value
This product is great value! I soldered six pins on the end for programming and plugged it in to Sparkfuns dev-09716 FTDI basic, pulled up the Arduino IDE selected the new com port and set the board to arduino duemilanove. It programmed just like a full sized board. This board also gives you access to 8 analog pins instead of just 6. The eight analog pins can be used as digital pins by referencing them as pins 14-thru- 21.
